Another new year, another Still Life track! Seeing as it’s the start of the year, and everyone is recovering from the recent snow-a-thon, this week’s track will be more of our migration of album tracks. Taken from the 2003 album The Incredible Sinking Feeling…, “Simple” was the college radio favorite off the record. Enjoy!
Still Life: “No One Is Free”
Happy New Year! The first track from our first ever release; we thought this was a fitting way to kick off the new year of the song-a-week blog, which will actually be every week this year (we’re doing our best, we swear). “No One Is Free” was the opening track off of the Limitations, Boundaries, and Failures EP, which was our first ever release way back in aut-two, and actually one of the first ever written Still Life songs (it was shelved until they put together this EP). As topical now as it was in the early 90s when it was written, or perhaps even moreso. Enjoy!
